The Aranui Wainoni Community Centre located in Hampshire Street in Aranui, is a multipurpose community facility featuring a sports/function hall, indoor and outdoor stages, an office, two meeting rooms, and a large commercial kitchen.  The 976m² building is sited on Wainoni Park and replaces facilities demolished following damage sustained from the Canterbury earthquakes.

We worked hand in hand with CCC’s appointed project manager, and the consultant team through the design stages to establish and develop a high quality and value for money design solution for both the community and stakeholders.  We provided full pre and post contract quantity surveying services, and assisted in the delivery of a high-quality facility $200,000 under the original business case construction budget and $600,000 under the overall project budget.
