The five-year, multi-million dollar contract (2008-2013) was the first maintenance alliance contract to be awarded in New Zealand.  The contract area, which includes the CBD, stretches from Dominion Road to the western boundary of Auckland City.  The Alliance was responsible for achieving all the contract’s objectives such as high road construction standards, road signage, pavement design, stakeholder communication, safety improvements and improving the condition of the overall network in a short a period as possible.

WT acted as Cost Auditors for Auckland Transport. This included the agreement of Target Outturn Costs (TOC) of areas of the program and the validation of costs submitted by the Alliance.
