Confidential

We are engaged as the Quantity Surveyor’s for one of Auckland’s most exciting, cultural projects undertaken in recent history – Auckland War Memorial Museum’s Future Museum project.  Our involvement started with the master planning stage of the project whose objective was to ensure future proofing of the museum to remain relevant and be cutting edge in our increasingly technological, dynamic and culturally diverse world.

We won this construction cost management role through a short-listed tender process having a proven track record of success with nationally significant cultural organisations such the award-winning development of Auckland Art Gallery, as well as ample experience of working on long-term, very complex projects, involving multiple partners and stakeholders.

The master plan covers years one to five, the purpose of which is to establish the conceptual framework and guidelines for the Museum’s future building and development goals.

The phased project is now nearing completion and has seen the inclusion of an offsite collection’s facility, while onsite numerous gallery upgrades have been completed, offering interactive displays along with the new circulation loop, enhanced retail, office and laboratory spaces all supported by state-of-the-art services infrastructure.
