When completed, the integrated family healthcare centre will be over 1,600m² in size, a new build health facility, replacing the previous Buller Health hospital and medical centre in Westport.
The clinical services will include inpatient medical and surgical services, maternity, ER Department, GP care, Oral Health and extensive Community Support Services.
The building design team has been working closely with Buller clinicians on the master plan and concept design. At the same time the WCDHB has been working through options for construction and ownership of the new Health hub. A range of options were identified in the initial business case, and the detailed analysis and market engagement relating to those is on-going.
We are providing consultant services through all stages of the project.
