Project Description

Client:

Dunedin City Council

Project Value:

$0.75 million

An annual building warrant of fitness (BWOF) inspection raised the requirement for fire compliance upgrades to the existing Bunning warehouse in Porirua.  As part of their financial investment portfolio, Dunedin City Council owned the building, and were instructed to provide a new sprinkler room to adhere to current fire compliance legislation.

A structural engineer was engaged, and together we liaised with the incumbent fire contractor to develop a design brief for building consent lodgement and main contractor procurement.

Once the building consent was approved, we provided project management services to deliver the new pump room.  Services we provided out of our Wellington office throughout the project included design management, building consent coordination, main contractor procurement, full quantity surveying cost management and project management of construction delivery.
