The City Rail Link (CRL) Project provides Auckland with additional city centre train stations whilst improving the efficiency of the existing train network.  The CRL comprises 3.5km long twin tunnels up to 45 metres below the city centre.

We were initially engaged by Aurecon (as Auckland Transport’s Technical Advisor) to carry out concept estimates and to assist in the financial planning of the project.  We were then engaged as the Specialist Estimator for the project-wide utilities.  This involved a detailed review of existing utilities and relocation/upgrade requirements for the same in conjunction with the main alignment works.
