Lance is a founding Director of WT New Zealand and has been central to shaping the business since its beginnings in 2000. With over three decades’ experience in the construction industry, he has built a reputation for strong commercial judgement and enduring client relationships.
Lance’s expertise spans the full spectrum of quantity surveying, with a particular focus on pre-construction advice, procurement, contract negotiation and commercial strategy. Today, he focuses on high-value, highly complex projects, from premium residences through to major developments and refurbishments.
Clients know Lance for his sharp wit and candid clarity. He is not afraid to say when a project doesn’t stack up, and is valued for his ability to tailor viable solutions.
Lance takes great pride in having shaped not just the WT business and culture, but many of the projects that define New Zealand communities. He continues to roll up his sleeves day-to-day, building a legacy of long-term partnerships, successful developments, and a business centred on trust, honesty, and pragmatic problem-solving.
