Originally from Wales and a Chartered Civil Engineer, Tim’s extensive career has taken him across the UK, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand. He has experience in civil contracting, infrastructure planning & delivery, management consulting and business leadership, with each role adding to his understanding of infrastructure programme & project delivery and business transformation.
Joining WT in 2023 as Infrastructure Director and the NZ lead for Infrastructure program & project management, Tim brings his diverse skillset to major infrastructure projects. He is especially adept at transforming distressed projects, providing the leadership needed to reset goals, delivery models, timelines and redesign processes & controls to bring them back on track.
Tim’s style is warm and direct. He offers clear insight and a fresh perspective before helping clients architect feasible solutions. Tim makes it his mission to understand an organisation’s strategic objectives and constraints then develop programmes & projects to achieve them. He also enjoys mentoring the WT team and working across the business to ensure clients benefit from the full suite of WT’s expertise.
“My aspiration is for New Zealand to have the kind of seamless, resilient infrastructure we need to support our daily lives. That’s what I strive to achieve for our clients and communities.”
