Rubi is a skilled Quantity Surveyor with over 11 years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. She joined WT in April 2024, as a Quantity Surveyor for the Infrastructure Team.
Her career began in the Philippines, where she gained expertise in steel reinforcing estimation and detailing, working with clients in the UAE and New Zealand. After relocating to New Zealand in 2019, Rubi expanded her skills in pre-construction, interior fitouts, carpentry, formwork, concrete, and steel reinforcing, while developing and maintaining construction budgets.
Rubi excels in accurate cost estimation, progress claim assessments, and variation management. Her strong organisational and detail-oriented approach ensures the successful delivery of high-quality projects. She holds dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental and Sanitary Engineering, with NZQA qualifications equivalent to Level 7 and professional recognition as a Quantity Surveyor in New Zealand.
