Project Description

Client:

Learning Infrastructure Partnership (LIP)

Project Value:

$70 million

The project consisted of the design, build, finance and maintenance of a new primary school (690 pupils) and a new secondary school (1,500 pupils)  located at Hobsonville Point, West Auckland.

The project was procured as New Zealand’s first Public Private Partnership (PPP).

We carried out due diligence for the funders and the Client which was a special purpose vehicle that engaged the contractor and the facilities management provider.

During the course of this project we were engaged to monitor and report on program and costs for the funders and LIP.  We also negotiated all project variations on behalf of the Client.
