The Russley Village Block D (Sefton Apartments) and Block E (Ashley Suites) are two new build luxury aged care facilities, situated within an existing village, offering both independent apartment living and assisted care rooms.  Residents of these new buildings enjoy a wide range of facilities on offer within the village such as cafés, restaurants, indoor swimming pool and spa complex, bowling greens, receptions, car parking, gardens, security and nurse care.

Block D consists of three levels with a mixture of 51 care rooms, 8 apartments, 4 lounges and several nurse stations.  Block E consists of three levels with a mixture of 36 care rooms, 8 serviced apartments, 3 lounges and 2 nurse stations.

Our responsibilities included the production of developed design estimate enabling the construction budget to be set and used as comparison tool against main contractors’ tender returns; issuing tender documentation and detailed analysis/reporting on main contractor’s tender returns; and construction monitoring consisting of monthly payment recommendations, detailed financial reports, PCG and site meetings, change order control and value engineering.

We worked in conjunction with Simon Construction, Focus Project Services and ASC Architects to achieve successful completion.
