The BNZ’s headquarters project in Wellington, known as BNZ Place, involved developing an integrated fitout to the base build works. The works are 12,000m2 of space over 13 levels in the heart of Wellington’s CBD on Whitmore Street.

How WT SUPPORTED THE CONSTRUCTION OF BNZ PLACE

WT provided full QS services including pre-contract estimating, negotiation and agreement of MCHF and SHF fitout costs and soft fitout procurement.

The project also included several tenant changes to the base building. Given that BNZ are the significant tenant, structural and building envelope changes required negotiation of pricing. As the base build contractor pricing was not provided, WT reviewed and agreed on reasonable credits and additions to confirm the agreed cost to BNZ.
