This city centre redevelopment can be split into three zones.

Zone 1 of Invercargill Central spans 7,399m² and houses the anchor tenant for this large-scale redevelopment project. With heritage façade remaining in situ, a Farmers retail store fills two floors, and a third floor has been designed to accommodate a variety of uses.
The Zone 1 Esk Street façade maintains an appearance of individual structures which includes the preservation of a heritage façade at its centre. The mixed-use development includes internal connections to Zones 2 and 3 of the development.
WT New Zealand provided full quantity surveying services for all Pre and Post Contract activities from project inception to completion.
The contemporary Zone 2 spans 11,810m² over two levels and creates a hub for fashion, specialty retail, food and beverage (Esk Eats). With two main entrances on Esk Street, Zone 2 travels through the precinct, to Tay Street. Internal streetscapes reflected within the mall create a laneway style dynamic with extensive skylights throughout allowing for natural light.
WT New Zealand provided full quantity surveying services from the masterplanning stage through to project completion.
Wrapped in a uniquely modern, colour-changing façade reflecting the Aurora Borealis (Southern Lights), the 4-storey 24,000m² car parking facility sits atop Zone 2 and provides 650 car park spaces including EV charging stations, accessible and parent parking.
Project innovations include a fully automated parking and billing system, a flat floor plate to allow for future change of use and roofed top deck to allow for hosting events.
WT New Zealand provided full quantity surveying services.
