Jason Power

Associate Director – Infrastructure Quantity Surveying

Jason has over 20 years of project management and quantity surveying experience on infrastructure projects, beginning in 2001 as an Engineering Officer at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council in Whakatane.  

He spent seven years in London as a Quantity Surveyor for a major construction business on the Transport for London motorways contract beginning in 2004, performing a variety of infrastructure enhancement projects including motorways, lights, bridges, tunnels, and footways.  Now Jason works for projects across New Zealand and is based in WT's Auckland office.

Jason has used Waka Kotahi's Cost Estimate Manual SM014 on projects including Otaki to North Levin, Whangarei to Port Marsden, and RiverLink.  Jason is also @RISK certified and has utilised the programme on several projects including RiverLink, Wawata Estate development, and Pacific Lakes Village to conduct Monte Carlo simulations to inform appropriate contingency levels.
