Stephen brings over twenty-eight years of experience in the construction industry to his role as a Director. Originally from Invercargill, Stephen has held senior positions in Professional QS practices in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Stephen joined WT in 2012, when he settled back in NZ.
Stephen has provided cost management services over a wide range of market sectors and procurement forms, from small scale estimates to full QS services on multi-million-dollar projects. Stephen is adept in all facets of Quantity Surveying and his proactive nature and detailed experience enables him to provide added value services to his Clients through all project stages.
Stephen has extensive cost planning experience with a proven track record of providing sound cost planning, control and delivery within budget. He is a team player with good communication skills and can conceptualise schemes and associated costs on limited information.
Stephen has delivered a considerable number of community facilities and local government projects in the South Island over the last twenty years.
Specialty sectors include aged care, commercial, residential, multi-use, retail, apartments, hotels, sporting and swimming facilities, stadia and seismic strengthening.
